My brothers AX750 has packed up, asked me to check it out and discovered 3.3v has dropped down to sub 2.5v and causing motherboards surge protection to kick in. Checked PC via spare Seasonic PSU and everything's still working.

Corsair don't stock the AX750 anymore, and it's unlikely to be repaired going by previous experiences with them. Most likely will send AX760 as it’s the nearest in quality out of current line-up, on paper it sounds decent but is it any good in reality?

I remember reading some people moaning that recently Corsair supposedly had lost their way a bit with PSU quality - so hence I’m asking. :)

He's had an email informing the AX750 has been replaced with another AX750 which has already been shipped.

Super quick turn around which is great, but hasn't the AX750 been EOL for absolutely ages?
