Corsair Carbide 500R Fan Controller

After doing a little research into this case which i was set on (as ****ing usual something ****s me over) i discovered that additional fans cannot be added to it's fan controller because it uses a unique 3 pin connector anyone found a way around this problem if not please suggest a case which has build quality, is versatile and looks stylish basically Corsair Carbide Series 500R equivalent.

How about adding a fan controller to it?

I have the 500r with the inbuilt controller controlling the corsair fans and a Lamptron FC2 controlling the rad fans.
 
You just need to slice off the two numb lines on a standard 3pin connector and it will fit.

I wouldn't bother, the onboard 500r fan controller is pathetic at best.
