Corsair CUE - How to map to G keys?

Is it just me or is CUE the worst?

Can someone please advise on how to map say "TAB" to one of the G keys?

Tried looking at guides but maybe I have a CUE problem or am being stupid.

Pretty straight forward. Go into the actions area in Cue on the keyboard. Under the dropdown section, just hit Remap key drop down (loads of options to pick from). in the box that says Type keys, hit Tab and select the G key you want to assign it to. Job done, this is for iCUE but had recent version of CUE 2 before moving to iCUE and was broadly similar also. Hope this pic helps

Your normal Tab key will still work as normal.
