Corsair Customer service?

Just send the PSU. That is all they need to replace. If they decide to send you any more than a PSU back that is their choice.

I've delt with Corsair a few times and always had a brand new unit back. Sure the postage is annoying, but unlike other companies they don't mess around with repair/refurbs.

I had to return a HX650 3 weeks ago. I sent just the PSU and got a shrink wrapped brand new unit back.
 
Im just going to send the PSU back. because its only the hardwired 24 pin cable thats faulty.

No problem with postage, going to send it through UPS at work.
 
Had to return my AX850 and braided cable set for replacement - not a good experience for me.They take ages to respond to e mails and drag their feet a bit, but they do get there in the end - took me a month to get sorted.
Overall very frustrating and expensive - cost me nearly £40 to send the items back.

In future I may be a bit wary of Corsair - their service and quality seems as though it may have slipped in quality - a shame really.

Same for me! Took weeks to reply between messages. Will be avoiding in future purely based on fact it takes weeks to get replacements.
