Corsair CX500 issue, urgent.

Bought a new CX500 for a temp build, the fan is not spinning at all.

Is it load dependable? It feels slightly warm when gaming.

i5 3570
asus 760
asrock b75 motherboard

everything is stock, is it time to return it to the supplier..? :/

Also had a powercut of sorts, pc and monitor went, but tv stayed on, getting quite worried. Should I return it, and grab a superflower gold rated or something? I've had this temporary pc for a day

It should spin all the time. It's not semi passive.

Do the paperclip test, if fails then rma time.

It works, yes but no fan spin.

Hopefully thats a better quality unit

Np, fan should be spinning, so it's to be sent back anyway. Just thought it might be dead completely first.

Good choice on the SF at that price it's bargain.
