OK brother has bought the above PSU. He's after some advice on which way up to mount it. Fan up or fan down. Going into bottom of case.

If the case has a filter I would place face down to draw cooler air through the psu.

My cases which have the psu at the bottom I have always placed fan down.

If the case has a dust filter for the psu then fan down.

Your brother should have done his homework and bought a decent psu though.

The cx600 is fine for most people, yeah I know they are cheap and nasty but they do work.
