Hello everyone
I bought a corsair CX 750M power supply for my brand new build and i have a couple concerns about it for instance when i turn my computer off it still delivers power to my PC as the led on my motherboard stays lit ( thats how its ment to be i think ) so its fine but the PSU keeps making a slight ''biiiipp'' noise when the PC is off and when i turn the switch off on the PSU or unplug it from the wall the noise stops completely. The noise coming from the PSU is not extremely loud but its annoying and i don't know whenever it should be like that or not i think its something like a capacitor charging up but im not too sure and when the computer is properly on its louder than all my case fans like i can hear it my computer when its on my desk and im sitting beside it ( i know as i turned all the fans off completely and my stock heatsink fan is dead silent so it couldn't be that ) it bothers me as this PSU was supposed to be dead silent and its not at least i think its not ?
Could anyone help me out as i can still return it and possibly get it exchanged ?
Hope what I wrote makes sense :)
thanks

The price is pretty high and i dont know if the site i bought it from willl accept it from ( I dont think im allowed to say the name )
I bought my psu for £68

You're not allowed to name competitors.

If you definitely need 750W consider an Antec, Seasonic, EVGA, Silverstone, XFX or Be Quiet! (this likely to be the cheapest)
