Haswell-E and the X99 platform will use DDR4 as it is a central part of the Architecture.

DC cannot use DDR4 natively.

Devils Canyon also can't be used on X99. You need Z97 for DC.

To be fair these are all 16GB kits, the super expensive Crucial kits were 32GB.

I hope Kingston comes out with some DDR4 HyperX Fury stuff.

That and the Crucial Ballistix were faster in frequency while having tighter advertised timings than the above. The Dominators look like bad value by comparison.

And here we go again...with RAM costing as much as the CPU. Going to wait a bit until prices come down and skip a gen, i mainly game and at a low res so x99 (6 core, ddr4) just isnt worth the outlay at the moment if i had 1.5K to spare i would be all over it though

Can't be any comparisons as the haswell-e is a new chip on a new chipset.
Even if you could use the same chip the chipset and bios would be different so direct comparisons will be hard.
