Hey guys, I really hoping someone can give me some advise.
I am close to hitting go on an 1700 build on a Asus Prime B350 Plus motherboard but I am getting stuck on the RAM reported issues.
How can I tell if 2x8GB 3000mhz Corsair CMK16GX4M2B3000C15 is going to be v5.39 as per the supported list https://www.amd.com/system/files/2017-06/am4-motherboard-memory-support-list-en_0.pdf
Do you think it matters as the compatibility on the ASUS website says v4.24 supported as well as appearing without version number?

Alternatively should I play safe and go for the 2666mhz Corsair CMK16GX4M2A2666C16 that appears on both AMDs and ASUS approved lists?
Will I notice the difference?
Quite frankly when I started looking I was going to be lazy and just go for OC's bundle https://www.overclockers.co.uk/gren...0ghz-overclocked-gaming-bundle-bu-08w-og.html but the RAMs only 2400mhz and from what Ive read all day Ryzen works a lot better with faster RAM, provided it doesn't fall over itself which puts me off as although I've got to the stage where I don't mind someone doing thepain in the backside "enjoyable", bits for me, I can't work out why the bundle would have slower RAM. Plus a CPU cooler when I gather the stock one on the 1700s is pretty good.
Currently looking at the Corsair as that seems to be the most widely stocked and also just fyi Corsair 3200mhz CM16GX4M2B3200C16 does not appear to be supported by the Asus Prime B350 Plus.
Apologies for wall of text and thanks in advance for any help you can offer!
