Hi,

I currently have the 32GB RGB kit (CMH32GX5M2B6000Z30) and whilst I'm happy with the performance/mild overclock using Buildzoid's guide it annoys me that it's RGB and I can't control it without iCue or OpenRGB. Plus the RAM is too close to the cooler on the Asus Strix B650E, so I have to sit the 2nd fan higher on the Noctua D15.

Any recommend anything non-RGB, ideally with a lower profile but the same performance/specs?

Thanks in advance.

Wouldn't worry about it.

As for RGB, cut some elecrtician tape over the RGB. Also doesn't the HSF block the RAM anyway? So who cares. lol

You could just get the non-RGB vengeance? According to Corsair it is about 10mm shorter.

These are slower kits, but if you're running an X3D CPU shouldn't matter. The 64GB kits would also be slightly faster due to being dual rank (small chance they're single rank, but I'd be surprised).

i love how everything ive been wondering the last few weeks a thread or two appears on here at roughly the ideal point to also help me
also using ndh15 and about to upgrade from am4 to am5 hopfully and i tend to use corsair ram usually [although im not actually opposed to going a different make this time]
im debating is the cl30 worth the extra 70 something quid but on the same token this whole upgrade isnt really needed i just for the first time in my life suddenly have an interest in my a ctual pc beyond can i get online? cool thatl do i actually have started going hmmm
i spend over 12 hours a day might as well actually have something nice [not that my am4 build is not nice i love it but new shiney wooowoooh lol]
also not a big fan of rgb i dont mind a tiny bit but not at the expense of not being able to fit the front fan on my cpu cooler LOL!
that 70 quid saving almost covers the difference to get the x3d cpu though........
but i can see myself still wishing i got the cl30 lol

anyway thanks for this thread its given me more to think about lol
