Corsair Dominator Airflow Fan?

i got a few questions how this, as i cant found any decent review off the net

how many ram sticks does this cover?
is it any good at its job?
how loud is it?
and finally does this worth its money?

Might as well ask this here too, does the fan fit on any triple-channel RAM?

Thinking of buying one for my Corsair XMS3 6GB (3x2GB).

There are 2 different models - 1 for triple channel, and one for dual.

Unless you are massively overclocking your RAM, or you case has zero airflow, then they are a bit pointless - look quite good, but pointless.

They are reasonably loud too.

Not quite right, they can be loud but if your bios can control the speed they are very quiet, mine is set to 50% in bios, and can hardly hear them

Yeah, I've read about them being a bit pointless unless you're OCing. I'm not OCing it, and although this is probably the wrong reason to look for one, I quite like the way they look.

well i am planning to overclock my corsair 1600mhz ram to around or over 1800ish if i can, would that cause a massive rise in temputure hence needing these fans?
