Corsair dominator problems

Hello, i purchased 2x1gb sticks of corsair dominator pc-6400 4-4-4-12 ram yet when i put it into my board the timings are set to 5-5-5-18 2t, if i try to lower this to the apparently normal settings windows does boot but i do get a few errors and stress tests just laugh at me, I have changed the voltage but this makes no difference, My spec is in my sig and any help is appreciated,

If it fails MemTest at its advertised settings I would RMA it.

ah ignore me, i presumed it was 4-4-4-12 1t if i keep it set to 2t then it hits 4-4-4-12 fine

have the same ram if unlinked i can set it 4 4 4 12 1t but if set to synch with 1:1 divider it doesn't like 1t at all.

yeah i got it sorted now, i made a mistake i havnt made for a few years, i had them both in slots next to each other and wasnt using the dual channel slots :rolleyes:
