Should be fine, as long as your CPU's integrated memory controller can run at that speed, some CPU's will some won't. It's a bit of a lottery .. But for compatibility it should be fine and will run at the slower speeds too. 2400-2666mhz is the sweet spot really, but if you really want such speed ram, the real world beneftis are not all that, after 2666mhz it won't show much of a difference in real world.

All Skylake can run 3200 easy in my testing experience.

This combination should be working fine.

My corsair dominator ram will only run at 2800 even though its rated at 3200.
Mobo is a msi z170 gaming titanium.
Apparently there is a new bios out which might help but TBH im not bothered.
I dont want to lose my raid and the difference will be negligible.
