I was origionally going to build with Corsair 2GB DDR2 XMS2 DHX PC2-6400C4DHX, but as the faster clocked dominators are on offer I'm happier to get those.
My one concern is that the mobo I want is an xfire one, (Abit IX38 QuadGT), the dominators have this in their spec:
The Twin2X2048-8500C5D comes with
Enhanced Performance Profiles (EPP), the open standard for performance module SPD’s jointly developed by Corsair and NVIDIA. EPP SPD’s on Corsair modules allow users to automatically configure EPP enabled motherboards with aggressive memory performance settings, for maximum memory and system performance.
Is this a wasted feature on my mobo? Is it reason to pick the 6400s or will this ram still give me better performance with or without EPP?
