Going to buy one now and i'm using a gigabyte ga-m68mt-s2 board which only has SATA 2 ports. Will this be a big bottleneck and also what do i have to make sure i do when i have the SSD? Drivers? I read something about AHCI?

1st time SSD owner here.

Anyone have a F60? Can't seem to find benches compared to other SSD's.

I would go for the Crucial M4, proven track record on those. Corsair SSDs don't seem to be that popular and the first hit for Googling 'Corsair F60' is 'F60 Disgusting Performance'. :p

SATA 2 will bottleneck the SSD, but it will still be faster than any mechanical HDD. AHCI should be supported - try any RAID menu or anything disk related?

Isn't the F60 an older drive? F60 link

If it is then you'll be fine on SATA2.

Go through the BIOS and have a look at the SATA configuration. It should have IDE or AHCI mode. What motherboard do you have?
