Corsair have finally updated the 4000D, with some interesting changes so you can 'mod' the case in different ways once panels become available and made it slightly bigger to fit newer hardware.

In black or white, looks like it'll launch in Feb

The font panel and button placement isn’t great unless you’re definitely putting it on your desk top (I know a lot of people do these days).

This looks really nice. I’m looking at upgrading my older NZXT H5 flow and was probably going for a Fractal North but this looks like another worthy option :)

Has anyone built in one of these? Was thinking of ordering one for my new build but some of the feedback suggests the metal is thin /flimsy and the fit of the panels is poor?

Was about to ask the same, a friend of mine picked one up the other month and said it felt much cheaper than the original 4000D he was replacing and he ended up sending it back as the rear panel was pretty bowed and wouldn't fit without some decent force once he'd taken it off.

Having a top mounted 360mm AIO really tempts me, particularly because it's still a relatively compact mid tower - but if the metal / quality isn't great then I'm not sure it's worth it.

It's odd because the reviews are so conflicting. Maybe it's just that their quality control isn't consistent with it being a new design. Loads of the posts on Reddit/instagram of folk showing off their builds look fine and they seem happy with them?

Think I’ll order one to see as I like the design, functionality and the flexibility it offers. Most of the complaints seem to relate to the top of the case and the side panel being thin which to me doesn’t really matter so long as it doesn’t rattle.
