I came home friday turned on my PC and nothing my fans twitched and it did nothing else

so i left it for a while tried again and nothing

rewired everything and removed PCI cards

tried again and nothing

then tried another PSU and voila it worked so i know that my corsair PSU is officially broken

so i thought na its ok its got a 5 year warranty standard, corsair are a great company bla bla bla

so i do an RMA thingy i realize i have to pay for shipping there so im slightly annoyed because i thought being a great company +5 yr warranty would get me free shipping there

anyway not to worry should cost less than a tenner, so i go on the parcelforce website calculate a parcel which has to go to the netherlands, 3kg, box is fairly small about 15cm(h) x 20cm (w) x 30cm(l) calculate it and it comes out at £29.47!!!!!!! WTF and thats the cheapest one there if i want tracking which is kinda recommended with a expensive item its £37!!!!!!

as you can understand im incredibly GRRRRR  i mean what is the point having this massive warranty when its gonna cost me half the price i bought it for i mean come on???

im just gonna buy a friggin new one thats not corsair, the PSU itself is great i just happened to be one of the minority that had a problem but come one £30-£37 for shipping whats is the point

might as well get a new proc and mobo as well

anyway my corsair PSU has gone up from 60 to 80 in price and the warranty is crap so obviously im not getting the same again!

can anyway tell me a decent PSU looking for around 600W £70 or under, i was looking at

mmm maybe but im pretty sure that is how i read it on their website and the email i didnt here anything about a refund also i bought this product from ****** not OCUK and i thought it was 28days but i think as long as it is within warranty period ****** will deal with it and that usually means free all the way
fingers crossed checking it now
