Corsair Gaming K70

Received my Logitech G105, but I've found the spacebar being a bit hit and mis, plus it has not wrist rest, so I'm thinking of returning it.

Now I'm looking to spend a bit more and maybe try out a mechanical keyboard and the Corsair Gaming K70 caught my eye.
I've never used a mechanical keyboard and I've heard it takes a bit of getting used to, but the 1 main thing I'm worried about is the noise. Playing games with mates with mechanical keyboards and listening to them type all the time can be damn annoying. So I don't want to be doing that to other people?

Took a punt on this and bought it with the red switches.
Really like the feel, but the space bar feels iffy. Works fine but almost feels like it's grating on something?

Got a K70 with brown switches and the space bar does feel a little like it is grating on something so I think this probably normal.

You guys recommend this keyboard then? I notice it's on offer today only.

Need a "gaming" keyboard and I've no clue what to get.

I have the msi GK-701 mechanical keyboard with the cherry brown switches and don't find it to loud at all for typing etc,the brown switches are not that loud but have a nice little clicky noise to them,my gaming enjoyment has improved loads since getting it and I would never go back to a normal keyboard now

See I will happily move back to a low profile keyboard when i next purchase one. I much preferred my Lycosa to my Osmium for gaming, and typing...and looks. I think i have to put mechanical keyboards in much the same category as 'gold plated usb connectors' etc.
