Corsair/Geil/Kingston

I'm about to buy some ram 2x1GB PC3200. It will be value RAM and either

Corsair Value Select
Geil Value
Kingston ValueRam

They are all low density and are all CL3 (although in some places the Corsair is listed at 2.5).

They are all about the same price (give or take) and the only one with any significant difference is the Geil because of its heat spreader.

A few questions then ...

(i) Corsair Value Select - is it CL3 or CL2.5 - is it just advertising spin or are there different/newer versions?

(ii) Geil Value - the heat spreader - just hi-yech looks or does it actuallyworthwhile

(iii) Anything to choose between the three

i. I haven't seen CL 2.5 Corsair Value, could be typo could be real.

ii. Heatspreader does nothing cooling wise, does protect the modules from getting bashed around though

iii. Geil Value is the winner for me, it'll run 2.5-3-3-6 with 2.7V and clock ok too
