Hi,
has anyone tried mounting the older (v1 I guess) version of Hydro H100 with AM4 CPUs?

There is a bracket available for them, but it only lists H100i v2.

Would performance be better than regular air cooler with something like Ryzen 5 3600?

Yeah, was thinking of exactly that, but got that Hydro sitting idle in the box and it was used for like a month before I went proper WC on my oldish rig.

From the corsair forum 5th post down.

I can confirm that the original H100 will mount to AM4 socket without any modifications. I just installed this AIO onto a Ryzen system. Using the same brackets that look like "square hooks", they will clip onto the motherboard's original mount effortlessly. Unfortunately, Corsair staff is trained to say you need to buy a new AIO cooler as per the email they sent me:

Thanks, I did send Corsair a ticket but you were quicker lol :)
Now need to find the bracket pieces, as all Ive got in the box is for intel as it was on trusty 2500K..
