IM new to this watercooling thing and was wadnering whats a push and pull configuration> is where 2 fan intake from the top of the radiotor and the bottom two pull the air through the radiator into the case?

whats the best intake from the cae and exhaust from the top or intake from the top and exhaust into the case, taking into consideration where there is a 240 side and front intake fan and a 120mm exahust fan??

Thats exactly what a push-pull is.

Have two fans underneath pushing up, and two fans on top sucking out, have it arranged so its blowing upwards.

Remember hot air rises.

But Stu, why would you want to cool the water with hot air?? wouldent the CPU be hotter?

and also Stu would it be better for the rear exhaust fan to be intake??? positive pressure is a good thing apparently so the only thing exhausting air out of my case would be the 4 fans from the radiator

Its not hot air going into it.

The only other major component making heat is the GFX card, but if its any good it will be exhausting out of the case directly out of the back slot.

The air in the case is also exchanged fast enough by intake/exhaust fans that it doesnt hang around long enough to get hot.

Look at this as an example of how air flow goes in and is quickly exhausted out the back and the top of a HAFX

What case is it?

Exactly what fan spaces/configurations are there?

Normally its colder air coming in from the front, base of the case.

Then hotter air exhausting at the top and at the rear fan mounted high up at the back of the case.

EDIT: I tried to quote you but a quote of a quote of a quote doesn't seem to work :)

I think it's because Cleeecooo get's irate with the self-contained watercooling solutions ... :D

OP - have you looked at the RX240? or RS240?

Just a bit;)

A bit?!

I'm sat here clawing my hair out as we speak, contemplating battering myself to death with my TJ11 whilst strangling myself with tubing, using the beautiful nickel plexi blocks as handles.

OP, the links inSilica provided would be the best way to go. Performs much better than the H100 and can be easily expanded.

Okay Stu its the thermaltake level 10 GT case with, side intake fan is 240 front intake 240 rear is 120mm exhaustr and top 240mm exhaust however i wil take that top one of and install the H100 with 4 fans bottom ones will be pushin air through the radiator and the top 2 will exhaust it out of the case, and no i havent bought it yet just doing research for my build

Why cleeecoo? isnt the H100 very good? i just want it to be better then the top of the range air coolers without having a massive heatsink blocking the thermaltake case window,

It is good, its just that Cleeecoo has a fetish.

If you want something that is under £100, works, and is a fit and forget setup, go for it.
