Corsair H50-1 and Socket 939?

Hey guys, Can the Corsair H50-1 be used on a 939 motherboard? I'm tempted to buy one for my Opteron and then when i come to upgrade in future I already have an awesome cooler ready and waiting.

I realise that it specified Socket LGA775/1156/1366/AM2/AM3 on the product page. but I can imagine that's possibly just listing the new and most common sockets?

nope sorry they dont do a bracket for 939

If it works on AM2 i cant see why it wont fit on s939

The backplate and bracket hole pattern are different. 939 has 2 holes, AM2 and newer has 4.

Guess I'll leave it alone. I have a thermaltake big typhoon on my operton at the moment, so its not like its not cool enough, Just wanted to play with cooling it with one of those nice H50-1 coolers
