Anyone with a Corsair H50 noticed a faint fast clicking sound that can be heard around every two minutes and usually lasts for around three seconds ?

Pretty sure it is the pump but i just want to know if it is normal or not. Temps are fine otherwise.

@mymorph, had mine about three weeks.

To better describe this clicking noise i suppose it is one of those sounds that you would not normally notice but when you do eventually notice it you can't help but keep hearing it.

My case is at the side of me and my computer is fairly quiet to begin with, i have a couple of 120mm fans and my GTX260 is set at 50% fan speed unless it ramps up but even then it is still fairly quiet. I suppose if my comp was under my desk and i had my old ATI in which sounds like a hair dryer then the clicking would be inaudible.

Maybe it is just me being paranoid...

thats diappointing to here really, my pc is also quite and would like to get it alittle quieter, that clicking would tick me off.

hmm, anyone emailed corsair about this?

would be interesting to see if its a product fault?

Mine is fine doesnt click at all.

I have read on the Corsair forum if you can lower the voltage supplied to the pump by about .5v the clicking stops.

Could it be some motherboards supplying dodgy voltages on the fan headers or unlcean 12v supplies ? Try changing the power connector to a different socket for the pump.
