Does anybody know what thermal paste comes pre-applied to the Corsair H50 watercooler?

And tell me if I should clean the copperplate base when I get it and replace it with my arctic silver 5 or is the paste good enough to be left on? also is it better than my coolermaster V8 which is running arctic silver 5?, I want improvements :D

Ahh I guessed that much. Do you know what it is exactly? like MX3? etc. or would it be some good stuff made by corsair themselves :D and should i replace it with my arctic silver 5?

Its made by Scythe and is very good, just leave it on there you will get good results with it.

According to the video linked in the OCUK store for H50. the paste is supposed be could because it doesn't take as long to 'cure' ?

I guess this means it settles in a lot quicker giving better conduction of heat to the copper from the die ?

On another note, when you install a H50 how do you know how tight to screw the fixing bolts in. I am going to be getting H50 for my new setup and I am bricking it that will apply my usual brute force to the screwdriver and screw them so damn tight I'll end up punching a square shaped piece of motherboard out with the socket and cpu attached !!!!!!!!! :(

i found the paste more than good enough but temps did improve over time, one tip i picked up was to re tighten the heatsink screws after a couple of weeks
