I wanna buy it for my 902 case but I'm a bit concerned about airflow.

It's recommended that the rear 120mm fan is reversed to suck cool air from the outside through the rad's fins for better performance. Does this mean I gotta reverse a fan at the front of the case to make sure the air flow is going in a cycle?:confused:

I wouldn't worry, many people here use the H50 as an exhaust fan and find it works great (only a couple of degrees difference compared to using it as an intake). As the 902 is a great airflow case, then I would guess that you would see even less difference if you run the H50 as an exhaust.

Maybe worth testing if you get it luan, use the back fan to suck in at different speeds while using the roof fan as the exhaust, then try the other way.

Im thinking of getting one myself soon for the 902

Using the H50 with the Antec 902. I have two fans mounted either side of the radiator intaking air from outside the case along with the side intake and two front intakes. I find the top fan alone is fine for exhausting warm air.

Did notice a few degrees difference between mounting the H50 fans both ways, I wouldn't worry about having it intaking as like I said the top fan is going to suck up what's coming straight into the case anyway.

The side fan is blowing directly on my graphics card's heat pipe so it doesn't affect that at all. ;)

i have the H50 in a antec 900 as a intake push-pull config and it works great on my e6850 temps are 36/38 idle in a hot room (dont know ambiant sorry) and about 50 load, thats overclocked to a 3.5 as my **** n650 board dont let it go any higher.

I'm going to pick up this thread about the H50 to ask for some advices: :D

My i7 920 @ 4Ghz @ 1,30v is atm reaching some alarming temperatures with the H50.

Doing prime 95, with 8 threads active i am reaching 90º wich is substantialy higher than i see in all the reviews so far.

My ambient temp is around 28-30C wich doesnt help, and the humidity is very very high (stormy days) but even so, 90º is ticking me off as something is wrong here.

I instaled the H50 with the regular thermal compount included and i'm positive its well instaled since the radiator also heats up significantly meaning the heatsink is transfering the heat from the CPU, and the tubes are also hot. Thing is, the radiator is burning up and the intake fan is not realy cooling enough at max speed.

I've tried with a case open and honestly there is not much more than 2-3º diference. My "close case" setup is a Antec threehundred, with 1 120mm intake fan on the side panel and 1 140mm outtake on the top.

As idle, i'm seeing 55º wich is already high from what i see on reviews that normaly get it at 45º, so i'm quite confused here.

Any tips?

What is the stepping of your CPU? If its the D0 then 1.3 V is pretty high for a 4GHz overclock. Ideally, you will want something around 1.25V, is this possible for your overclock?

But as you say, thats some pretty warm weather. You may need to adjust your expectations for your overclock. However, you may want to consider adding some aftermarket fans, people ususally add a pair of these or these fans to their H50 and get a decent drop in temps.

Do you have front intake fans knight, and where are you?? the sahara?

my oc at 3.3 is sitting at 34 degrees idle.

Its a D0. I was having problems with lower voltages at 4ghz, but i'm still adjusting QPI, uncore, etc (only had the CPU for a couple days).

About those fans, they look realy good i should try it out definately, thanks for the tip.

Oh and i live in portugal, its warm in here this week. Kinda like tropical weather, the world is changing for the worse :(
