Corsair H50 Questions

Does the H50 come supplied with fittings for an AM2+ motherboard?

If so, would it be sufficient to support a Phenom II 550 (that might possibly get unlocked)?

It only ships with 775 and 1366 fittings. Corsair will supply you with fittings for the cost of postage (i think? / pretty sure).

I haven't seen anyone using a h50 on a phenom but it's doing what it's supposed to on my i7. I think your TDP is similar / lower so it should be fine. What case will you be using?

Some sites have it with the AM2/AM3.

I am using a fairly generic case, but its not cluttered.

Not being supplied with the AM2+ bracket is a turn off. I shall look into getting a nice air-cooling system

Depends where you buy the H50 from at least 1 sites sells the AMD brackets included with the H50.

Thats site has been out of stock for ages of the AMD bracket...might just bin it and get another true rev c

it can't be that hard to get corsair to ship you one. Will give it a go myself possibly later this week.
