Hi guys,

I need a new cpu cooler as the stock intel one as most of you know is a bit pants.

Ive been looking at the H50 as an option as well as some of the big HS/F such as the TRUE with the noctua vortex fans.

Which would give the best cooling for the price ?

Thanks
Steve

i have heard mixed things about the H50, many say it is excellent and will easily handle an overclocked i7. I heard a couple of poeple who said it was hitting 85 and i7 at 4ghz, could just be a bad fit or somthing??

An air cooler you bung in and that's it.

The H50s cooling element can be moved all over the place, pulling air in, pushing air out.

Then because the H50 is mounted at the edge of the case instead of the middle where temperature is fairly reliable, you can create a situation where it's getting hotter air pulled through it than a standard air cooler or colder air pulled through it.

Very dependant on setup, some cases will just not work as well with it.

Get it because it's good, flexible and looks different. Do not get it in the hopes it beats other top cooling because in your setup that might just not be the case.
