I was wondering, If you had a Corsair H50 and through no fault of your own (faulty unit) it leaked and fried your system, would Corsair be responsible?
Would they also be obliged to replace the broken components?
Just wondering really.![]()
afew have, mateOk, has anyone had theirs break and damage something else?
Make sure your shut down temp is et reasonable in the bios as if it fails your chip will heat up pretty quickly so you want your board to shut down so you know something is fubar.
62c is msxWhat would be a reasonable temp to shut down at then with my chip?

62c is msx
so 60c will be fine

personly one user is enough. i've never liked the idea of water + electric..So one user with a reported leak? Hardly constitutes much.
. but thats just me. I know what you mean. I have seen the damage that water can do to electronics and the idea of that happening in my case is not a good one.
I just thought that it would be quieter than air cooling.
it's far less likely the hsf will rip the motherboard. also i've never heard of that...Apparently I have the choice of possibly spraying liquid over my components or having the hsf rip my motherboard in half!![]()
Yes of course you could be unlucky and spring a leak etc, but hey you could also be run over by a bus tomorrow.

Are you trying to make me agoraphobic as well?
I’m just a little worried about it as this is the first time I have built a pc and don’t want to break anything yet because there is no way I could justify spending more money to the other half.![]()
