Hi All

I noticed something the other day on the radiator of my H50. I had to remove it from my case to clear out the dust from the rad as my bro decided to put my shelf up and not cover my case so got a bit dusty.

There was some residue on the radiator next to where the barbs and pipes are, i cleaned it off and it was like some type of oil/grease is it anything to worry about.

I have noticed that my H50 makes a little bit of noise when i power up pc just sounds like the water sucking through.

Sounds strange because the h50 is painted so any manufacturing flux would have been cleaned prior. Is it silent in normal operation?

It is silent in normal operation just hear that sound when i turn pc on. I cleaned off whatever it was and ive had another check and there isnt anymore of it.

It was probably just something left from manufacturing or maybe packaging.. Keep an eye on it but I would think that its fine. All pumps make a little noise on startup (centifugal pumps especially) this is due to the initial inertia of the water. As long as the h50 isnt making any sucking noises during operation then you are fine.
