Hi,

Is it worth the upgrade from a H80iGT to a H110GT? ... Have had to remove my overclock as my temps were hitting high 80 degrees under full load.
My computer is in the corner of my room with the 120mm fan cutout approx 6 inches from the wall. (only way I can have my case without moving my whole room around)

I do a fair amount of video encoding so PC sits at 100% for some time.

thanks.

I've gone from the H80 to H105 to H110i GT,the 105 was great temp wise but I got the 110 as it had bigger fans better looking hose plus the upgrade didn't cost that much when I sold them.

I can imagine the H110i would shave at least 5/6c off your temp, but that's just a guess tbh. Temp wouldn't bother me tbh, but if you want your overclock back it may be worth it

cheers guys, have ordered the H110GTX and will install it tomorrow night.

Anyone know what is safe maximum temps on i7 2600k?

As usual OCUK never fails. My H110i GTX arrived today and installed this evening. Quite challenging compared to installing the H80, i forgot the fans need to be ontop of the radiator and connect to the case directly due to the hard drive caddy ontop of the 650D case.

Ran prime95 for an hour and max temp was 65 degrees with my overclock (room temp around 28 degrees)

thanks for the help.

What are your current OC settings? I think you could push that chip a few extra gigahertz.

4.5ghz with 1.3vcore.
I was thinking of pushing to 4.8 but need my pc for the next couple of weeks so will need to wait.
