Hi
Like so many I am stuck indoors and have been furloughed. So for the first time in over 7 years I am starting to play games again. However I have discovered that my rig isn't up to much these days.
My i7_4770K can't cut the mustard as much as it used too.
I also gave my GPU away and haven't had one for 7 years. I have bought a 1660 Super to put me on for now. But then I discovered that I had forgotten the DVI port on my monitor no longer works and that I have been using the VGA into a converter to HDMI. This isn't great with my new GFX card. But the availability on monitors is dire at the moment unless you want to spend £500, due to all the home workers.
After looks of reading I am considering either upgrading now to an AMD bundle, or wait for the next gen AMD 4000 series. But I want to know if my H80i GT will work with an AM4 socket mobo?
Is the AMD 4000 series going to be AM4 too?
