i just finished building my new system but for some reason the corsair link app wont detect my cooler, the fans are spinning very loud and changing the setting in my bios dont seem to make a difference

i did some searching on google and tried changing the usb header i am connecting to, i also tried running a cable outside to an external usb but its still not being detected :/

and advice? here is my full spec

Processor - Intel 4930K 3.40GHz
Cooler - Corsair Hydro H80i High Performance Liquid CPU Cooler
Motherboard - Asus Rampage IV Extreme Black Edition
Ram - Kingston HyperX Beast 16GB (4x4GB) 1600MHz Quad Channel
Graphics Card - MSI GeForce GTX 780Ti Gaming Edition
Power Supply - Corsair Professional Series AX 860W '80 Plus Platinum
HDD - Samsung 500GB SSD 840 EVO SATA 6Gb/s

Are you using Windows 8.1? If so, you can google a registry hack that will get the Link software to detect your H80i

windows 7 here, i should have said that in the original post :p
thanks for the info though

i went into the highstreet today and managed to find a Seidon 120V :) seems to be doing the job fine so ill rma the corsair back on tuesday

There is a thing is the software that you click and it says something like "detect all devices". Should work
