Corsair HG10 Cooler

If you mean does the HG10 come supplied with a fan, no it doesn't. You're meant to cannibalise the stock fan from your GPU.

What about if I own MSI gaming edition? The Bracket supports this GPU..

On another website "CAN" they list the fan not supplied, but OCUK dont say anything about this..

Also OCUK show the fan in there images, yet another site dont.

Am not sure..

What thermal pad? The NZXT G10 has no pads, just a 92mm fan blowing on the right side of the core. You need heatsinks wherever there are VRMs and have some airflow over them. Thicker thermals pads are also not a good idea in general.

As far as next HG10 goes, it will be for Nvidia Titan, Titan Black, reference 780, reference 780Ti and should be out in a couple of weeks or so. It won't fit the AMD reference R9 290 or 290x though.

The HG10 A1 fits 290x my msi gaming edition are on the list of compatible but I have had to go and find reference blower fans.

The nzxt g10 apparently doesn't cool the vrms as well as the corsair hg10. I've done a lot of reading on this recently and decided on the corsair for this reason

Yeah it's one reason I have gone with the corsair, not only that but it looks so much better.
Plus I can even keep the back plate

The tubing is 11.5" apparently

I had to get the measuring tape out and the AIO that I wanted wont fit where I want it to go in my 540 Air. I've bought one anyway and will figure something out.

Hopefully my HG10 arrives today

Cool I been told by corsair that the H75 will fit so thats what am going to go with.. Would have liked a thicker Rad though.

Just waiting on some stock blower fans to get delivered and then i'll order GH10 and H75..

Seeing I already had the cooler off one my GPUs thats going to be the testing card. If all goes well with that card i'll move onto the other in couple weeks.

they make a massive difference. my 290x's never go above 60C with thw nzxt but your right it has a lot worse VRM cooling mine with heatsinks on still hit 99C with the nzxt fans on full power.

Would like to try the corsair ones out tbh and see if they make any difference.

60c I will be very happy with.. I been taking recording of my VRMs before I make the change and VRM1 sits around 80c while VRM2 is around 10c lower

So if I can keep the core much lower while maybe lower or same VRMs ill be very happy.

What can I say other than WOW! Temps already a good 20+ c difference. Quiet, Looks superb and performs superb, all while not breaking the bank..

Dont get me wrong this nothing on a full water cooling setup but it also dont cost as much.

Here some results i'll update with some more VRMs comparisons this just core for now.

These was taking by standing in same spot for 15 mins each. Max temp I seen was 63c

Plus and Bad points
+ Looks superb, corsair really done a great job with the bracket "personal choices here"
+ Much lower Noise over stock or aftermarket coolers "Depends on your choice of fans and speed"
+ Better temperatures and chance to push your GPUs harder without hitting the max core temps
+ Easy to install, I had little issue getting that Backplate of the GPU but that was because MSI choice if adhesive sticky pads.
+ Can be used with a wide range of AIO water coolers to get even better temps My reading are from a H75 and a Corsair 750D with the front cover on.

Leads me to my only complaint.
- Must use stock reference fan, Ok if you bought a Reference 290/x but because I was using Aftermarket I had to look around. Lucky enough a guy on here sold me two. Thanks spoffle
Corsair are ment t be soon shipping the bracket with there own blower fan and also bundled with one there coolers.

would be 10/10 but for now 9/10 it as to be...

Very happy!

Some idle temp readings

Here some more results this is from me playing snooker.. Reason for snooker is because normally both GPUs would still 75c - 70c Now am getting 71c and 55c :D

Next week i'll be sure to adding the 290x..

And here is it vs the other stock air from that same benchmark

What an impressive way of sharing your feedback with the community. Very detailed and lots of useful information to those who are considering cooling their GPU with an AIO cooler. I'm also liking how you have broken down the strong points vs the single con regarding the blower fan, which is all going to change moving forward. Our future GPU brackets will come with a fan right out of the box so that should be a game changer.

Anyway, just wanted to commend you on that comprehensive post and tell you how much I appreciate it. I am just glad to see that our HG10 did not disappoint you overall :)

:D it really is a game change that's for sure... Will corsair be adding more brackets each new GPU generation? And will these remain aimed towards reference design?
Thanks
