What can I say other than WOW! Temps already a good 20+ c difference. Quiet, Looks superb and performs superb, all while not breaking the bank..
Dont get me wrong this nothing on a full water cooling setup but it also dont cost as much.
Here some results i'll update with some more VRMs comparisons this just core for now.
These was taking by standing in same spot for 15 mins each. Max temp I seen was 63c
Plus and Bad points
+ Looks superb, corsair really done a great job with the bracket "personal choices here"
+ Much lower Noise over stock or aftermarket coolers "Depends on your choice of fans and speed"
+ Better temperatures and chance to push your GPUs harder without hitting the max core temps
+ Easy to install, I had little issue getting that Backplate of the GPU but that was because MSI choice if adhesive sticky pads.
+ Can be used with a wide range of AIO water coolers to get even better temps My reading are from a H75 and a Corsair 750D with the front cover on.
Leads me to my only complaint.
- Must use stock reference fan, Ok if you bought a Reference 290/x but because I was using Aftermarket I had to look around. Lucky enough a guy on here sold me two. Thanks spoffle
Corsair are ment t be soon shipping the bracket with there own blower fan and also bundled with one there coolers.
would be 10/10 but for now 9/10 it as to be...
Very happy!
Some idle temp readings
Here some more results this is from me playing snooker.. Reason for snooker is because normally both GPUs would still 75c - 70c Now am getting 71c and 55c
Next week i'll be sure to adding the 290x..
Here some more idle temps
And here is load after running Sleeping Dogs highest possible settings at 1440p
And here is it vs the other stock air from that same benchmark
