Corsair hg10 fan install question

Hello on the corsair installation video, they have the fan connector coming out the top part of the bracket.

But for me the holes don't match up and my fan cable must come out bottom.

This normal.

Yeah it's fine. Just make sure that is still going to reach the fan header on the GPU and won't interfere with the PCB.
 
Unless it uses screws bigger than the ones that Corsair uses, it should be possible. If they happen to be the same type somehow then all you need to do is get slightly longer ones. If they are smaller than the Corsair ones, then a bit of tapping will take care of it.

Yeah I'll test the screws that come from the Msi cooler on the bracket see if they tighten.. Hope I can it will look very tidy.
 
Worst case, there's a local lad from the UK who has backplates ready to go for the HG10. He's mostly doing business on OCN (GPU Cool or something like that, got his own little sub forum there) but I don't see why you can't talk to him there or elsewhere.
