Corsair HS1 compatible with PS3?

As the title, are the Corsair HS1 compatible with the PS3? Am interesting in purchasing these but need to know if they are compatible first, any other recommendations for about the same money?

If their only connection is USB I don't think they will work; the PS3 will only output voice chat over USB.
