Corsair hs1 echo problem?

Just got my corsair hs1 and everything I listen to seems to have an echo , is there anyway to stop this ?as is dam annoying I have tried all the settings?

HS1 not HS1A? Can you turn off Dolby Headphone? It has simulated echo to sound like you're listening to speakers in a larger room rather than headphones. Sorry not familiar with the sound chip on the HS1 so don't know exact details.

If there are different dolby headphone settings try DH1 or DH2. They're less echoey.

Because I had an echo from a new gaming head set, it was the headphone mic left on causing feed back. Select the off button on the volume control.

It was the drivers I uninstalled the corsair ones and let windows 7 install driver updates from windows update then installed the corsair ones problem gone and mic is great ! Brilliant sound to
