Hi all,

Wasn't entirely sure where to post this, Have both Corsair HX850 Platinum and MSI Suprim 3080 10GB in my prebuild.

This 3080 requires 3 x 8 pin PCI-E connectors and looking through the side window of my case I can see two cables used for all inputs.

(Forgive the rubbish quality picture, I've still got the plastic on the side panel! :))

Not entirely sure what the left cable is looking in the manual for the PSU i think they are probably both 6+2's but not entirely sure, This makes me a bit wary having the middle connection using an off-shot from a single cable given its a 300W+ GPU.

I've not looked at the cable positioning on the power supply itself but I'd like to remove this mess if possible from the case as I'll be reworking the build using hardline WC'ing.

The connectors on the PSU:

I should be able to just use the 3 high-lighted connection points above for 3 x 8 pin connectors for the GPU right?

Are there any off the shelf cable packs from OcUK that would clean up this mess?

If not, Would this be the correct cable config?

Each cable from the psu has 2 x 6+2 pin (8pin effectively) so you see the extra one not being used.

A single 8 pin delivers 150w so that why the cable with 2 connectors on are rated at 300w in total.

You can buy single cables as in your link and use them in the correct psu slots above but not sure if overclockers sell individual cables, it would be best to contact customer services .

Yeah, 3 x 8 from there direct to your GPU, might have to zip tie the split off bit for aesthetics.

If it was a prebuilt, you maybe would have been given the extra cables (At least I'd like to think so). Check a box or something, failing that ring them.
