I'm upgrading my PC and have got myself an MSI Tomahawk Z790 DDR5 motherboard paired with an Intel 13900K CPU. I was hooking everything up and noticed that the motherboard requires 2x 8pin CPU cables instead of the 1 that my CPU has. The PSU is quite old (Corsair HX850W Model CMPSU-850HX) so I'm not sure if this is something you get with newer PSU's.
Do I need to connect a 2nd 8 pin power cable? If so, is it possible to get a CPU cable that will connect to one of the other 8 pin ports on the PSU, or will that cause issue?
...do I need to get a new PSU?
