corsair iH100 question

does anyone know if the iH100 will fit z170 and the new z270?

or am I looking at a new cooler if i go down the 6700/7700k route?

I don't think it does going off the site it says - Socket Compatibility: 1155 / 1150 / 1156 / 1366 / 2011 / Intel LGA 2011-3 / AM2 / AM3 / FM1 / FM2

Isn't the new socket 1151? I am about to change my h100i to a EK predator, you could consider that too if your case is big enough mate. I have read numerous times the EK predator is a completely new level compared to the Corsair AIO's. I think it was Doyll on these forums talking about the EK that convinced me the other day.

Build quality maybe. I ended up getting an h110i GTX and theres a couple of degrees in it at best.

To answer OP, I had the h100i GTX for my 6700k and it fit just fine. AFAIK, its just higher performance fans but you may want to check
 
there isn't anything wrong with it at all, i added another set of fans early on and its in push pull config cools perfect. I just wanted to know if i upgraded to the 1151 if it would fit, thanks for the replies
