Corsair K40 Issue

I just reinstalled Windows 8.1 onto my new SSD and now my keyboard is acting up.

None of the backlight LED's are lighting up and the three 'lock' LED's are all flashing constantly. Tried the usual uninstall/reinstall drivers and with the software, tried different USB ports and tried in a different machine. Whenever the PC is switched off, the three lock LED's remain lit constantly. I am also unable to update the firmware on it because the keyboard apparently can't be detected.

I've had a look online and people are saying that the keyboard is stuck in BIOS mode. The same people are having the same issue but with the Corsair K70, which is easy to sort considering it has a BIOS mode switch.

I've checked everywhere on the keyboard and the Corsair software and can't work out how the heck to sort it.

Any suggestions?

I did yesterday not realising that they don't work weekends. Just wondering if anyone knew seeing as I'll have to wait a few days for a reply! :D

I have this issue too. Was working yesterday now suddenly its flashing and all leds dead. A quick google and it seems common.
I wish I sent this back when I had the chance to be honest, its not worth the money. I have freebie keyboards that feel better than this. I thought Corsair were good, oh well, no more Corsair for me next time. Its 2015 and keyboards still dont work lol.
