Just picked this keyboard up today and man it feels weird compared to my other logitech mechanical keyboard, im using it now and as i type im not sure what i think lol the keys feel very smooth and a lot quieter than the logitech, but dont have quite as much resistance to them.

Each key feels like a smooth, liquidy very quiet thuck, havnt tried it for gaming yet which will be its main use and just hope i can get used to the feel of these keys, im not saying they are bad, they are in fact VERY smooth and slick, they just feel different.

What do others think of this keyboard for gaming, did you get used to the keys? just wanted a wireless keyboard to go with my new razer viper v3 pro mouse, hope this lasts me and performs well.

Edit...had a quick blast on battlefield 2042 and everything seems ok, keyboard is responsive enough etc but man these keys feel different lol like i said, they are not bad keys, just have a very different feel to what im usually used to
it will take a while for me to get used to them 100% i think.

Was your other keyboard tactile? I've got the original k65 with Cherry reds, and there's no reassuring bump.

My logitech keybord is pretty good, just the keys have more resistance than this k65, im 100% used to it now though and to me feels great, since i got a smaller mouse mat the keyboard is now on my bare desk so the keys sound a little louder.

It feels nice to type on and still smooth, i personally like it, do keep the rgb off though as im not a great fan of rgb, the battery life is AMAZING and seems to last forever!

Pretty sure the K65 Plus was only ever available with MX Red switches, which are fairly long travel, med~light resistance and no click. The "thuck" you're feeling is likely the key bottoming out, which is fine.
My only complaint (or nit-pick really) when gaming with those switches was that the switch engages about 80% of the way down the travel, so they felt slow to react but also difficult to preload without accidentally engaging.
That's the beauty of having so many mechanical switches out there; everyone is allowed to have their own preference. That keyboard has hot-swappable switches so it's easy for you to start experimenting with different ones (said the spider to the fly).

Awesome keyboard; I had the K63 for ages and the K65 was next until I properly fell down the custom keyboard rabbit-hole.

May change the switches at some point, but not until they feel not as smooth or break etc as i actually love these switches, yes your right, the keys dont have that click some switches have when pressing and the thuck sound is more the keys being pushed right down.

It felt super weird gaming with it at first as i found the keys sensitive, especially the spacebar so was jumping when i wasnt intending to in fps games lol
