Corsair K65 RGB problem

Just wondered if there is anyone else using this keyboard who has had 1 key (or more) that will not go the same colour as the others?

the key between Fn and CTRL is always off colour except for a few shades. I cant quite get a good picture to show it but IRL it is very noticeable and for me, annoying.

I know I should contact corsair but just wanted to see if this was common or even user fault somehow.

I've seen reports where keys are not lit properly, but not off color from the rest of the keys. I know you said that you couldn't get a good shot to show the issue, but I think it's worth posting, you never know as some of the guys can perhaps spot the color discrepancy.

Thanks for responding. I did try to raise a ticket but lost the receipt (one of the rare items I actually got in a store and not online).

This pic is the best ive got at showing it. The rest of the keys are a cool white where the other key is a kind of warm white. Its also off on various shades of pink.

I have an n key thats clearly not as bright as the rest, and white was never white...it was pinkish white.

I read up a dozen comments/reviews of the K65 and this sort of stuff seems to be relatively common

Nope. As above lost the receipt so cant RMA it. Looks like one of the colours that makes the rgb in that key isnt quite right. Just have to like and and lump it. Or switch my entire colour scheme away from white

What does the rgb look like with the keycaps on?

Depending on if you paid by card, how long ago you bought it and the store you still may be able to get an RMA sorted. Your best bet is to talk to the store, if they fail to help then you have nothing to lose approaching Corsair to see if they are willing to fix it.

If you're feeling brave/stupid look up some videos on switch replacement and tackle it yourself.
