Corsair K70 PRO TKL RGB for CS2

hey guys I have a Corsair K70 PRO TKL keyboard coming today, but im worried about CS2..

I believe that this keyboard supports that dual pressing feature strafe thing that will get you VAC BANNED.

is there a way to disable this in ICUE or something? or is it not avoidable? must be a setting, surely?

You toggle it on/off via the game mode button (it should be off by default): https://www.corsair.com/uk/en/explorer/gamer/keyboards/are-rapid-trigger-keyboards-banned-in-cs2/

I haven't had any problems with CS2 when it's disabled but I haven't played it for a few months. Don't know if you'll get banned if you enable it then forget to disable it though

hmm, do you know if it can be disabled with "game mode" on? as I will be using this setting when I am gaming with CS2 and others..

I don't have the keyboard anymore to test but iirc if you enable game mode first, then press FN + Right Shift you keep game mode enabled but disable the flashtap feature. One of the Corsair reps said they were going to add an option to completely disable flashtap via iCUE in the early 2025 update, not sure if they implemented it yet

thanks, as far as you know, once you enable game mode then disable using FN + Shift is it permanently disabled or do you need to do it every time you enter game mode??

I generally just kept game mode disabled for CS2. Pretty sure flashtap does reactivate every time you enable game mode though, I remember people were complaining about it and the rep said it would be updated in a future firmware and/or iCUE release to make disabling the option more permanent
