Greetings all,

I have a strange issue with my keyboard which I'm hoping is something of nothing that I can get sorted, but its so strange.

The issues im having:

The P key when pushed will input this: "ou[eipqrtwy"
Pressing the Return key does a print screen
Pressing Print Screen does Scroll Lock
Pressing Scroll lock does (yup) print screen

There are a couple more which I cant remember now, im using a spare keyboard atm.

This also seems to fix itself and then go back to being knackered again seconds later.

Things I have tried so far:
- Using a different USB plug.
- Uninstalling the keyboard in device manager and rebooting.
- Making sure its set to UK region
- A different keyboard (which works fine)

I cant think of anything else, if the spare one works fine then its got to be the keyboard itself right?

I'm just hoping that I have pressed some weird combo of keys accidentally to put it in some weird mode or something? I dont know, Im skint and cant afford a new keyboard and using this old £5 one is driving me mad lol.

Any ideas?

Seems weird - tried using it without the CUE software installed?

My K70 is also doing something weird now where if I press some keys on the left side of my keyboard (Generally S, W, A or E) it will spam the key about 4-5 times randomly.

I was going to say this sounds like a CUE problem, you may have at some point saved or changed buttons on the keyboard and those changes been saved to the hardware profiles on the keyboard itself. If that is the case then regardless if you have the cue software installed or not strange things can happen.

I would suggest downloading the CUE software from the site or if already installed uninstall it and start fresh and make sure all the profiles on the board are blank and no macros or actions have been taken to swap keys around.

I just had to google this "CUE" since the only cue I know of is used to play Snooker :D

I downloaded and installed it just incase I used it a while ago and totally forgot. There is nothing there that would cause any of my problems. I also updated the firmware since it gave me the option - still having the same issues.

Here's another issue I just found, this is so bizarre.

When I press the ";" key it produces the following "j;adfghkls'" AND it activates Caps Lock! How can all of these things suddenly happen at the same time?

Deary me
