Was having a fiddle with group icons and i deleted the LED icon for the H100i by mistake and i can't work out how to get the bugger back on.

It made all the rest of icons back to default no problem, but now the H100i has gone completly :(

I was having problems getting corsairlink to detect the H100i after firmware update, i did read somewhere that to uninstall corsair link is rather a pain to do to totally clear everything, now i can't find it.

Uninstall the SW completely including the profiles.. once uninstall is done, shutdown the system and unplug the cooler's USB connector from the USB internal header of the MB, then move it to a different header. Install the SW again and see your cooler will get detected.

Make sure that you are using the latest version of the SW and latest FW for the cooler.

Ok thanks will try this :)

That not working this time, i know when first installed the H100i back in june i had to swap over the motherboard header to pick it up and it worked, now it won't.

The firmware 1.07 is what i'm trying to put on.

Are you using a Link Commander by any chance? I see that you have an AXi PSU as well.

Try removing all USB devices connected to the MB's USB header except for the cooler. While the system is running, unplug the cooler's USB connector and plug it back in, see if that will trigger the detection.

No not using commander, i just plug the lead from the psu into the dongle, it worked fine up the point when i lost LED icon, i shall try the method you just said to see if that works.

I tried what you said and nothing, the four fans i have connected to the rad on the H100i are working fine and they are plugged into the block so i know it's working and pumping, just no LED and not picking up when trying to install firmware i tried 1.05 and 1.07, i could strip everything out and try that but that won't be today :(

Sorry to hear that. I thought about sending you a new set of the Link cable, but since you've already tried using the USB mini type B cable to no avail, then I'd have lean towards the unit itself (cooler) and not the cable being faulty.

Submit a ticket here and let's get that unit replaced via RMA process.

Thanks Greybeard, what i will do is sort all my cables out over the next few days, to deffo make sure there is nothing conflicting with the cooler, like i say i'm very pleased with the cooler, just seems since i updated the firmware to 1.07 the LED stopped working. :(
