Corsair Link

Pretty crap imo, not intuitive at all, thankfully I only have to set my fans on quiet mode and the cooling is decent so I dont need to bother with it.

I only use it to get an idea of the number of watts being pulled, its certainly a lot more stable that it used it to be. I still find it hilarious how the in and out used to update separately in the older versions and it wasn't unknown to get 105% efficiency.

I'm new to the PC world and just finished building my first gaming PC and I've read a lot about people going on about fan speeds etc and I'm wondering if I'm having to install something to do it myself or will the computers fans up the RPM when things start to get a little hotter?

Is being able to control it yourself just so people can run the fans so they are quieter?

I'll apologise now for my lack of knowledge but I'll thank you for anything you can teach me! :p

I recently got a PSU that support corsair link, previously I was using multiple programs to keep an eye on temps.

I installed Corsair Link 4 just to try it, and honestly, it's pretty cool. It picked up all my fan/temp sensors (PSU, Case Fans, heatsink fan, GPU fan) and all the temps including my SSD.

I'm actually impressed :)

Yeah it use to be absolute junk, but now after what appears to be a complete wipe and start again re-write of the program its now ok.
