Corsair 2GB DDR XMS4000PT TwinX (2x1GB) CAS3 (MY-094-CS)

I was wondering if these modules would run at tighter timings running at 400Mhz (say 2-3-2-5 1T) i.e. PC3200 speeds.

the quoted timings of 3-4-4-8 are when run at 500Mhz if i'm not mistaken.

Cheers

Possibly... I mean, every set is different as you'd guess. But they should tighten up a bit. Perhaps not to cas2 but maybes cas2.5.

I don't see why they wouldn't run 5-3-3-2.5 or there abouts! Perhaps if someone has a set they can try it out for you. ;)

These are based on Samsung UCCC and will probably not run much lower than 3-3-3-8.

For low latency 1GB modules look for something Infineon B or C-die based, like our 3500LL modules.

UCCC will tighten up at DDR400, you'll definately get 2.5-3-3-6 if not 2-3-3-6.

ok can anyone recommend any overclocking memory that will do near 6-2-2-2 when running at 3200. Looking for dual sticks of 1gb each.

Basically no.

Some Crucial Ballistix can do it, but the modules tend to die so can't really be recommened.

The closest you can get is 2-3-2-5 but you'll have to slacken the timings when you start pushing it.
