Corsair memory ,which one is better ?

The C4/C5 part of the name refers to the memory's latency. It won't make a hell of a lot of difference, if you're on a budget then get the C5 seeing as it's on special. If you need the extra bandwidth that the 4-4-4-12 will give you then go for that.

What are the promos like on overclocking as i've checked mine and they are Microns, enquiry for a mate of mine who has just purchased these and are v2.1.

As an employee, I have to start with, "we only guarantee the rated timings, speed, and voltages". ;)

We have seen some go as high stable as 1000mhz. However, most fall between 850 and 950 depending on voltage and latencies. If he wants pure speed, 5,5,5,15 at 2.1v should do well. Technically, we have a 5% tolerance so you can get away with 2.2v. However, there is on-die voltage regulation on the ICs so, the extra voltage may or may not help.
