looking for a replacement mouse (old mx518 starting to fail again)

was looking at the M65 and M40/M45

I know the M65 has a laser sensor, I haven't used a laser mouse before and the reports on the web regarding acceleration put me off them..

anyone used both the M65 and M40/45?

cheers

I don't about the M40 but I know the M65 and it's the best mouse I've had so far. never had any issue with it and if you're worried about acceleration, you can deactivate it.
I hope it helps

Personally I have an M65 mouse, it is dead accurate, and super nice to hold in the hand. I use my PC for hours on end and never have had an achy hand or anything like that.

M65 all the way!

TBH it gave me massive hand cramps, i had to send it back, they are all similar too so will be the same.

Best mouse ive had was a razer, but im using a £7 gigabyte thing atm and its super comfortable but just not up there for faster gaming. I play RTS a ot and half the time the clicks dont work :|

I had an M90. Side buttons are horrendous to press, so stiff that my cursor moves quite a lot when I used them. No good imo and they are prolly the same on the M40 and 60.

Was really nice to hold though even though my ring finger extended over the mouse button and the build quality is top notch. Oh and the software is also pretty disgusting to use and is way overcomplicated.

Great keyboards, but poor mice. Lots of room for improvement.

Same here, the M65 was horrible to hold. It gave me hand cramps and achy fingers. I think the worst thing for me was, my hand would after awhile slide off the mouse due the big slope at the back of the mouse. The feel of the mouse felt nice but the surface is a little slippery due to the material used. I sent it back and now using the M30 raptor and its much nicer for my hand.

I use the M40 raptor and love it.

I've had much more expensive mice that are sat in a box because i prefer this.

for £25 it was a bargain

I love the look of these mice, but I've been using a Logitech mx500 for years and find it really comfortable and I get on with it great. I'd hate to buy a new mouse and find it just doesn't feel as comfortable and as intuitive as my current one.
