Corsair MM200 Mouse Mat?

Not sure what the point of these extended mouse mats is, I'd much rather have a decent "normal" sized mat made of better quality materials for the same price as these extended mats.

The mats like the one you linked aren't large enough to cover a decent sized desk unless you get one like the absurd xxl ocuk own brand mats. But imo its such a naff solution. The dirt and grime that naturally accumulates would get on my wick and keeping it tidy would be a nightmare.

Would much rather get a decent sized mat that is large enough to mouse around on made of high quality material, and really why do you need a mouse mat for anything but a mouse?

Something like this, much better solution imo http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GS-002-LG&groupid=702&catid=32

Well I much prefer having this massive 'absurd' mat because both my wrists are cushioned wherever I put them. It does accumulate grime and dust but is very easy to clean. It looks great, feels better than a hard table surface (which it doesn't have to fully cover for it to be a viable solution) and protects your desk from damage.
